Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • ¾ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • 9x13 Baking Dish For pressing and cooling the treats

Method
 

  1. In a large pot over low heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until fully blended.
  3. Quickly fold in the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Press the mixture gently into a greased or parchment-lined 9x13 pan. Smooth the top lightly with a buttered spatula.
  5. Let cool completely at room temperature before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • For easier spreading, lightly butter your hands or spatula.
  • Drizzle melted chocolate on top for an extra treat.
  • Store at room temperature in an airtight container for the best texture.
